About the role

Branch Operations at Axis Bank focuses on delivering comprehensive banking services to retail customers and driving deposit mobilization. The Branch Head leads the branch team to achieve financial targets, manage daily operations, and cultivate key customer relationships. Hyderabad, on-site role with full responsibility for branch performance and compliance.

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily branch operations including lending, product sales, and customer service
• Develop and implement growth plans in coordination with Cluster Head
• Maintain and deepen relationships with top 10% key customers
• Review and act on daily/periodic reports to ensure profitability and ethical business
• Ensure audit deliverables and regulatory compliance
• Foster a performance-oriented environment to boost employee motivation and productivity
• Train staff on bank products, sales processes, and policies
• Coordinate with cluster and other branches to achieve business goals

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years banking experience
• BFSI sector experience
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Regulatory compliance knowledge
• Strong communication skills in English and local language
• Ability to manage complex client situations
• Risk management and uncertainty handling
• Pressure and deadline management

Graduate/MBA
