About the role
Global Procurement at Lubrizol oversees worldwide logistics services. The Global Category Manager develops and executes multi‑year category strategies, negotiates master agreements, and drives supplier performance across a matrixed organization. Mumbai and Pune, hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 flexible) with relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement global category plans
- Source, onboard, and manage logistics suppliers
- Negotiate master supply agreements
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Analyze market intelligence and risk
- Report cost trends and performance metrics
- Ensure HSES compliance
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years logistics procurement experience
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain or Business
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience with SAP and transportation management systems
Nice to have
- Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
- Chemical industry logistics experience
- Dangerous Goods expertise
