About the role

Dexcom, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, seeks a Staff Software Test Development Engineer in Bengaluru. The role involves leading software requirements and design reviews, creating verification plans, test protocols, and risk analyses for commercial CGM products. Responsibilities include validating software configuration, UI, and tools; designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Python; recording issues in bug tracking systems; analyzing failures with development teams; and documenting test reports. Candidates must have experience with iOS and Android mobile OS, automated testing with Appium, Android Studio, Xcode, and ADB, Linux/Mac terminal commands, GIT, Jfrog Artifactory, Jira defect tracking, and manual testing methodologies such as regression, black‑box, performance, and white‑box testing. What you’ll do

You will lead software requirements and design reviews.
You will create software verification plans, test protocols, and conduct software risk analyses for commercial products.
You will validate the configuration, functionality, and user interface of software and tools.
You will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for software testing.
You will execute software verification plans and test protocols.
You will record and track issues in the bug tracking system.
You will analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure thorough investigation of root causes.
You will write test reports documenting detailed validation results and report test progress to management.
You will follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in compliance with medical and security regulations.
You will modify test protocols based on changes in requirements and execute regression validation accordingly.
You will work collaboratively with other engineers as needed.
