About the role

AWS Events team delivers world‑class cloud community experiences, from large Summits to virtual hybrid programs. The Event Program Manager drives end‑to‑end execution of event workstreams, coordinating timelines, vendors, and onsite teams to ensure high‑quality delivery. Bengaluru, India – on‑site role with occasional travel.

What you’ll do

• Support end‑to‑end delivery of assigned event workstreams
• Develop timelines and coordinate stakeholders
• Create and maintain project documentation and status reports
• Coordinate vendors and internal teams for successful delivery
• Own specific onsite responsibilities during live events
• Implement standardized processes from Global Event Centre of Excellence
• Support budget tracking and reconciliation
• Lead post‑event analysis and process improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years event management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong project management skills
• Experience supporting live event execution
• Proficiency with event management tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication with leadership and stakeholders
• Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats
