About the role
Paytm's QR and Soundbox team seeks a Team Leader for Offline Merchants in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, to drive merchant adoption of payment tools. The role focuses on growing distribution and market share by recruiting, coaching, and managing a sales team across multiple locations, planning market coverage, and ensuring quality and audit compliance. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring extensive local travel.
What you’ll do
- Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations
- Drive extensive QR and Soundbox deployment and product sales with visibility and accountability
- Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market
- Devise effective methods to communicate plans and targets to minimize expectation vs delivery gaps
- Monitor quality parameters as suggested by management
- Validate and conduct audits on team acquisitions and sales
- Ensure team members are regularly in the market where sales and usage occur
- Plan market size, span, and geographies for FSE
