Senior SDET Gen AI Engineer

About the role

Iris Software seeks a Senior SDET specializing in Generative AI to own and drive enterprise-level Python-based automation strategy across multiple programs and platforms. You will establish governance, reusable frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams, lead cross-functional delivery of scalable automation solutions, and drive innovation in AI/ML-based testing, self-healing frameworks, and intelligent test analytics. Based in Noida, India, this role focuses on quality engineering, shift-left practices, and mentoring high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

• Define and drive enterprise-level Python-based automation strategy aligned with organizational quality engineering vision, scalability needs, and digital transformation goals.
• Establish governance, standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams across multiple programs and platforms.
• Drive adoption of automation-first and shift-left testing practices ensuring early defect detection and improved release quality.
• Lead multiple cross-functional teams delivering scalable, high-performance automation solutions across complex distributed systems.
• Define, monitor, and improve KPIs such as automation coverage, defect leakage, test effectiveness, and release quality metrics.
• Drive innovation in test automation including AI/ML-based testing, self-healing frameworks, and intelligent test analytics.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and direction fostering a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
