Product Designer, UI Design & Design Systems

About the role

Design Team at BookMyShow builds the user experience for millions of entertainment customers across web and mobile. The Product Designer will own and evolve the design system, create component libraries, design tokens and motion specifications, and ensure consistent, delightful interactions. Based in Mumbai with an on-site work model, the role collaborates closely with engineering and product teams to deliver high‑impact UI solutions.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve BookMyShow design system components, tokens, and patterns
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries with variants and auto‑layout
• Define motion principles, timing standards, and animation guidelines
• Create documentation for designers and developers to implement the system
• Conduct audits to ensure design system adoption and consistency
• Collaborate with engineering to translate design decisions into code
• Present designs and system decisions to stakeholders
• Contribute to research informing design decisions

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years product design experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma
• Proven design system ownership at scale
• Strong motion and interaction design skills
• Experience with design tokens and theming
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Portfolio showcasing design systems and micro‑interactions
