About the role
IG Group, a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, is hiring a Payment Operations Analyst in Bangalore, India. You will process deposits and withdrawals across card, bank, and PayPal methods, enforce anti-money laundering controls, and administer payment and banking portals while staying current on payment regulations and trends. The role sits in a multi-functional team collaborating across departments to ensure smooth client funding and withdrawals, and follows a hybrid model with three days in the office. You will work a shift covering UK hours (12:30pm to 03:30am IST).
What you’ll do
- Accurate and efficient processing of deposits into IG in accordance with international and local compliance regulations
- Processing and release of withdrawals across IG's different payment methods such as Card, Bank and PayPal
- Regulation and enforcement of IG's strict anti-money laundering controls, including the verification of bank statement and payment methods
- Administration of IG's payment and banking portals to enable effective processing
- Problem-solve complex issues and errors to resolve payment queries
- Handling of daily reports, posting of bonuses/tax and audits
- Cross-departmental communication to facilitate effective handling of queries
- Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise team performance
