About the role
Process Team at Arcadis delivers sustainable design and engineering solutions for pharma and bio‑pharma projects. The Principal Process Engineer leads multi‑disciplinary project teams, mentors engineers and designers, and oversees FEED studies, P&IDs, equipment specs, process modeling and construction coordination. Mumbai, India, on-site with occasional travel to Bangalore, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Engage with client and internal stakeholders on chemical and biological process engineering
- Manage large project teams and support performance reviews
- Develop engineering documents ensuring technical quality, budget and schedule
- Coordinate construction activities, submittals, RFIs and vendor support
- Mentor less experienced engineers and designers
- Conduct industry research and present technical work
- Support business development and proposal creation
What you’ll bring
- 15-20 years design/engineering experience in pharma/bio‑pharma
- Graduate or master’s in Chemical Engineering
- Experience leading project teams up to 8 direct reports
- Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, Bluebeam, SuperPro, Navisworks
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
