About the role

TELUS Digital is building transformative digital experiences for global customers. As a Data Engineer on the Applications Development team, you will design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform, collaborating with analysts and business owners to turn requirements into robust solutions. Noida, India, hybrid (1‑2 days onsite per week).

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop data pipelines on GCP
  • Build modular code for data ingestion frameworks
  • Collaborate with analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Maintain code quality, documentation, and testing standards
  • Implement CI/CD processes for deployment

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years software development or data engineering experience
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and shell scripting
  • Hands‑on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub
  • Design and implementation of modular data ingestion pipelines
  • Experience with CI/CD using GitHub and Cloud Build
