About the role
Security operations team at Ocwen protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization. The Junior Security Engineer monitors and analyzes security events, triages incidents, and supports 24/7 SOC shift coverage. Hybrid role based in Bangalore, India with rotating shift schedules.
What you’ll do
- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze cyber security events from various tools
- Triage security events, determine severity, and recommend remediation actions
- Analyze phishing emails and recommend mitigative actions
- Escalate incidents to L2 SOC based on defined criteria
- Validate remediation and closure of incidents
- Manage information security tickets and ensure timely resolution
- Identify process improvement opportunities in monitoring and incident handling
What you’ll bring
- 1-3 years of experience in alert monitoring, incident triage, and security event analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
