About the role
Information Security team at Franke protects the organization from cyber threats. The Junior Cyber Security Operations Engineer monitors, investigates and responds to security incidents, manages vulnerability programs across IT and OT, and collaborates with MDR providers and threat hunters. Pune, India, on-site role with occasional travel (<5%).
What you’ll do
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents
- Manage and improve vulnerability management across environments
- Act as technical point of contact for incidents and vulnerabilities
- Research emerging cyber threats and support proactive measures
- Collaborate with MDR providers, penetration testers and threat hunters
- Contribute to strengthening overall security posture
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4-6 years experience in Information Security or SOC
- Incident response and threat analysis expertise
- Vulnerability management experience
- Microsoft Defender or Sentinel experience
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Fluent English communication
- Willingness to travel occasionally
