About the role
Comcast India Engineering Center (CIEC) drives secure, innovative media and technology solutions for millions of customers. As an Engineer 3 in Cyber Security, you will architect secure system infrastructure, conduct security assessments, and lead incident response while guiding junior staff. Chennai, India, on-site, full-time role with variable night and weekend schedules as needed.
What you’ll do
- Architect secure system infrastructure and create design specifications
- Apply cybersecurity expertise to solve complex development challenges
- Document technical processes and report findings with recommendations
- Manage relationships with project groups and mentor less experienced staff
- Implement cybersecurity measures for network protection
- Conduct security assessments to identify risks and enhance posture
- Analyze and respond to security incidents to mitigate impact
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends and threats
