Junior Security Engineer, Information Security

About the role

Security operations team at Ocwen protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization. The Junior Security Engineer monitors and analyzes security events, triages incidents, and supports 24/7 SOC coverage across multiple shift schedules. Bangalore, India, hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze cyber security events from various tools
• Triage security events and incidents, determine severity, and recommend remediation
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of incident information
• Analyze phishing emails and recommend mitigative actions
• Escalate incidents to L2 SOC based on defined criteria
• Validate closure of remediation activities
• Manage general information security tickets
• Identify process optimization opportunities to improve monitoring and incident handling

What you’ll bring

• 1-3 years experience in alert monitoring, incident triage, or security event analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
• Effective communication for incident documentation
• Willingness to learn security technologies
• Ability to work shifts and weekends in a 24/7 environment
