About the role
Infrastructure Silicon team at Meta builds custom silicon for AI, AR, and VR workloads. The ASIC Implementation Engineer leads physical implementation flows, collaborates with RTL, architecture, and verification teams, and drives timing closure, power optimization, and sign‑off. What you’ll do
- Lead physical implementation flows for custom ASICs
- Drive static timing analysis and timing sign‑off across corners
- Develop and maintain implementation scripts and methodologies
- Collaborate with RTL designers to resolve timing, area, power trade‑offs
- Perform power analysis and implement optimization strategies
- Execute physical verification flows and coordinate with foundry
- Contribute to implementation infrastructure and automation frameworks
- Partner with package and board engineers on IO constraints
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years ASIC physical implementation
- Experience with synthesis, place‑and‑route, timing closure
- Proficiency in static timing analysis tools (PrimeTime, Tempus)
- Physical verification (DRC, LVS, antenna)
- Scripting in Tcl/Python
- Power analysis and low‑power techniques
- Knowledge of timing/physical libraries and SRAM
- Experience with Design Compiler, Spyglass
