About the role
Verification Engineering team at Infineon Technologies drives digital verification and post‑silicon validation for complex ASICs and SoCs. The Principal Engineer leads verification planning, coordinates cross‑functional activities, mentors junior engineers, and advances verification methodologies using UVM, Xcelium and related tools. Bangalore, India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Lead digital verification planning and tracking
- Coordinate cross‑functional verification activities
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers
- Develop and improve verification methodologies and flows
- Drive reuse of verification components
- Identify and mitigate verification risks
- Collaborate with design and validation teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years digital verification experience
- 3+ years leadership of verification teams
- Expertise with SV‑UVM, Xcelium, vManager
- Experience verifying ASICs, SoCs, IPs
- Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket and JIRA
- Knowledge of ISO26262 or ISO21434
- Masters or Bachelor in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
- Strong communication and mentorship skills
