Lead Specialist, Technology Solutions - Agentic Automations

About the role

Pearson's AgentOps team seeks a Lead Specialist to drive enterprise-scale Agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions. The role involves designing multi-agent systems, defining orchestration patterns, and delivering scalable workflows that integrate human oversight with autonomous agents. This position is based in Bangalore or Chennai, India.

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, process discovery, and stakeholder workshops for agentic automation initiatives
• Design intelligent workflows, multi-agent systems, and semi-autonomous business processes with human-in-the-loop controls
• Drive functional design and implementation of agentic automation solutions using reusable components and accelerators
• Ensure all solutions comply with Pearson's Responsible AI framework and mitigate risks like hallucination and data leakage
• Partner with architects and engineering teams to establish scalable and reusable design patterns aligned with enterprise standards
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and leadership to communicate solution vision and value
• Define and track success metrics including productivity improvements, cost reduction, and ROI realization from automation investments
• Contribute to Pearson's AgentOps roadmap by creating prompt libraries, agent templates, and evaluating emerging AI technologies

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, automation, AI, or enterprise solution delivery
• Deep understanding of Agentic AI, autonomous systems, and intelligent process automation
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional automation and AI initiatives

Nice to have

• Master's degree preferred but not required
• Strong experience conducting discovery workshops and translating business requirements into technology solutions
• Proven success delivering measurable business outcomes through automation, AI, or enterprise transformation programs
• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Claude, UiPath Studio, and Microsoft Power Automate
