About the role

Principal Cloud Data Technology Specialist leading enterprise cloud data architecture across GCP, Azure, and Snowflake. Drives solution design, best practices, and delivery for global clients, ensuring scalable, secure, cost‑efficient data platforms. Experienced in data lake/warehouse design, ingestion pipelines, and mentoring technical teams.

What you’ll do

  • Design and innovate cloud data solutions with GCP, Azure, Snowflake
  • Lead architecture decisions and best practices
  • Own requirement analysis and feasibility studies
  • Mentor and guide development teams on data projects
  • Communicate solutions to client architects and stakeholders
  • Ensure robust, secure, compliant architectures
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery and quality control

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years in cloud data architecture (GCP, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Expertise in Snowflake, Azure SQL DW, Google BigQuery
  • Strong data lake & warehouse design across GCP & Azure
  • Proficient in Python, Airflow, Azure Data Pipelines
  • Experience with data ingestion (stream, API, file, microservices)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, DevOps (Git, Docker, security stack)
  • Familiar with DataOps principles and Agile SDLC
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Nice to have

  • Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or Data Engineer
  • Experience with hybrid/on-prem + cloud environments
  • Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA compliance frameworks
  • Prior enterprise consulting or professional services experience
  • Experience scaling global cloud teams or distributed systems
