Payroll Senior Analyst, Global Payroll

About the role

Global Payroll team at Accenture delivers end‑to‑end payroll services for a worldwide shared services model, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing. The Senior Analyst validates payroll data, reconciles variances, processes new hires, leavers, salary changes and statutory elements, and collaborates with internal partners and external vendors to resolve issues. Based in Mumbai, on‑site work with occasional cross‑regional coordination, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Support end‑to‑end payroll processing per service calendars
• Execute payroll controls: data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis
• Process payroll inputs including hires, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, overtime, deductions
• Liaise with internal partners and employees to resolve payroll queries
• Coordinate with external payroll vendors for accurate delivery and issue resolution
• Maintain payroll documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials
• Participate in payroll transition, stabilisation, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Enterprise payroll system expertise
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail
