About the role
Civil Engineering Team at Arcadis delivers sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure. The Principal BIM Modeler creates, details, and verifies BIM models and civil drawings for water treatment, pumping stations, and related works, while managing CAD/BIM deliverables across multiple projects. Hybrid work from Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India with occasional travel to Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
What you’ll do
- Produce, detail, and verify BIM models and civil drawings for water and wastewater projects
- Manage CAD/BIM deliverables across multiple projects ensuring budget and schedule compliance
- Perform quality assurance checks for BIM standards and project-specific requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design challenges
- Mentor and train junior staff on BIM processes
- Coordinate with regional offices and BIM managers to address issues
- Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria
- Maintain communication with design professionals and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or BE Civil
- 8+ years relevant experience
- Advanced Autodesk AutoCAD
- Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proficient OpenRoads Designer
- Navisworks Manage with clash detection
- Revit knowledge
- BIM 360 Design experience
