About the role
JLL's Project and Development Services team in Mumbai, India, seeks a Project Engineer to shape the future of real estate by delivering world-class services, advisory, and technology. You will work closely with project managers to own small projects and support major ones, organizing project structures, streamlining reporting and communication, and ensuring clear objectives. Day-to-day duties include managing professional consultants for design and documentation, administering vendor contracts, identifying and mitigating project risks, and producing project reports, analyses, and reviews. The role is based on-site in Mumbai, MH, with a 48-hour weekly schedule.
What you’ll do
- Take ownership of small projects and provide support to major projects
- Organize the organizational structure for each project, ensuring streamlined reporting, communication, and working procedures
- Ensure every project has clear objectives in place
- Maintain strong and positive client relationships by identifying their needs, requirements, and constraints
- Manage professional consultants necessary for the design and documentation of the project
- Carry out contract administration of all vendors professionally and in accordance with legal requirements to protect commercial interests
- Identify project risks and implement measures to mitigate them
- Create project-related reports, analyses, and reviews
What you’ll bring
- Degree in any property-related discipline
- At least three years of experience in design, construction, or project management
- Ability to work closely with project managers and take ownership of projects
- Skill in maintaining strong, positive client relationships by identifying needs, requirements, and constraints
- Capability to manage professional consultants for design and documentation
- Proficiency in contract administration of vendors in accordance with legal requirements
- Ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
- Skill in creating project-related reports, analyses, and reviews
