Project Engineer, Engineering Management

About the role

Engineering Management team at Larsen & Toubro oversees execution of hydrocarbon onshore projects. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with project coordination, contract technical reviews, engineering and resource planning, and quality management documentation. Works on-site in Powai, handling multi‑disciplinary meetings, schedule updates, change order tracking, and project closeout deliverables.

What you’ll do

• Assist Project Manager in execution of assigned projects
• Coordinate contract technical reviews before and after order acceptance
• Prepare and compile engineering and resource plans with inputs from leads
• Develop project execution procedures and support documentation
• Maintain tracking sheets for external interactions and client meetings
• Facilitate multi‑disciplinary tool box meetings and action tracking
• Update monthly man‑hours and project schedules
• Compile change order registers and closeout dossiers

Nice to have

• 8-15 years project engineering experience
• experience in contract technical review
• proficiency in engineering plan and resource planning
• knowledge of quality management systems
• ability to prepare project execution procedures
• experience coordinating with clients, suppliers, and contractors
• skill in preparing minutes and tracking action items
• competence in schedule and man‑hour reporting
