Senior Project Engineer

About the role

Project Management team at Jord International leads engineering project delivery for gas skid solutions. The Senior Project Engineer drives multiple projects from kickoff through final payment, managing scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality while guiding junior engineers. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on-site role with occasional travel to project sites.

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage multiple gas skid projects end‑to‑end
• Develop and adjust comprehensive project plans and risk strategies
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality activities
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes, and contractual requirements
• Monitor progress, report issues, and propose corrective actions
• Support sales by evaluating RFQs and preparing quote estimates
• Document and claim extensions of time and cost as needed
• Continuously improve project management processes

What you’ll bring

• 6-11 years project execution
• Engineering or Project Management degree
• Experience with EPC and QA/QC processes
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
• Willingness to travel to sites
