About the role
Software Tools Team builds the critical software infrastructure that empowers Whirlpool's Platform and Software & Electronics Systems (SES) teams to develop, test, and maintain appliances. The Senior Software Project Engineer will design, develop, and troubleshoot .NET and C# applications, manage configuration tools, and support CI/CD and OTA pipelines while collaborating across engineering groups. Pune, Maharashtra, India – On-site.
What you’ll do
- Architect, build, and deploy new features in the core .NET ecosystem
- Develop logic for generating and managing extensive configuration files
- Ensure seamless integration with databases, web APIs, and OTA pipelines
- Triage user-reported issues and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years professional software development experience
- Strong foundation in C# and .NET
- Experience with React, GraphQL, and .NET Web APIs
- Ability to build and parse configuration files for appliance operation
- Experience integrating applications with databases, web APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
