About the role
Hardware and Silicon Validation team at Marvell builds high‑bandwidth, long‑distance optical solutions. The Staff Engineer designs firmware, creates validation plans, executes SoC and subsystem testing, and develops automation frameworks using C, C++, Python, and Rust. Pune, India, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop firmware for IP validation
- Create comprehensive SoC validation plans
- Execute functional, performance, and compliance tests
- Validate and debug interfaces like SAS, SATA, USB, DDR
- Develop test suites and automation frameworks
- Perform SoC bring‑up and system verification
- Collaborate with design, firmware, board, and DV teams
- Generate detailed validation reports
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- 3-5 years validation experience
- Proficient C/C++ development
- Embedded Linux and ARM/RISC knowledge
- Experience with SAS, SATA, USB, security IP
- Debugging hardware/firmware/driver issues
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
