Qualcomm Hardware Engineering team develops advanced memory diagnostic methodologies for next-generation SoCs. The Senior Staff Engineer leads the creation of DRAM test algorithms, AI/ML pattern recognition tools, and data‑driven yield analysis, collaborating with silicon validation and product engineering across global sites. What you’ll do

Develop and enhance DRAM diagnostic methodologies
Design memory test and repair algorithms (BIRA, ECC)
Isolate failing memory locations and analyze failure signatures
Create AI/ML‑based pattern recognition tools for bitmapping
Collaborate with silicon validation, product engineering, and yield analysis teams
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

What you’ll bring

6+ years hardware engineering experience
5+ years with Master's degree
4+ years with PhD
