About the role
OneTrust AI‑Ready Governance Platform team builds responsible data use solutions that enable rapid AI innovation. The Senior Staff Software Engineer defines technical strategy and architecture across multiple product teams, mentors senior engineers, and drives engineering standards organization‑wide. Bengaluru, hybrid (3 days onsite) with flexible collaboration options.
What you’ll do
- Define technical direction and architecture for product areas spanning multiple teams
- Partner with staff, principal engineers, and product/UX leadership to align roadmap with business strategy
- Establish and propagate engineering standards org‑wide
- Mentor staff engineers and contribute to technical leveling and promotion processes
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years professional software engineering experience
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
- Java backend development
- Designing distributed systems at scale
- Identity & Access Management experience (preferred)
- Hands‑on AI‑assisted development tools experience
