Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

Mastercard seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead B2B payment platform initiatives in Pune. The role partners with engineering teams to design, build, and deploy microservices and web applications, driving automation and efficiency for buyers and sellers. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end delivery, cross‑functional coordination, schedule and dependency management, feature negotiation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in PM, IT, CS or related field, have 0‑5 years of project management experience, and demonstrate agile and scrum expertise. Strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Jira, and Rally are required. Preferred qualifications include PMP certification, experience with AWS and Azure, and SAFe Agile Train exposure. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Pune, India, with a start date of May 15 2025 and closing date November 29 2025.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's in PM, IT, CS or related
• Proven planning and project management experience
• 0-5 years PM experience
• Experience on large multi-scrum projects
• Agile PM methodology experience preferred
• Advanced communication skills (writing, listening, speaking)
• Strong leadership and relationship building
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Jira, Rally

Nice to have

• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud
• Ability to manage 6-12 month large projects
• SAFe Agile Train experience
