BLG - Regional Head - Rising Enterprise Group (REG)

About the role

The Regional Head – Rising Enterprise Group (REG) leads business and distribution for MSME clients across complex geographic regions within the Business Lending Group. The role focuses on achieving portfolio and revenue targets for clients with turnover up to INR 30 Cr, driving front‑line sales, and building strategic channel relationships such as branches and other partners. Responsibilities include developing profitable SME franchises, managing non‑interest revenue streams (processing fees, trade and forex income), and ensuring portfolio quality through strict SMA and NPA controls. The position requires a deep understanding of compliance, audit, and risk management, and involves cross‑functional collaboration with credit, operations, IT, and compliance teams. The leader will set performance metrics, review results, and expand into new geographies while maintaining turnaround and first‑time‑fix controls.

What you’ll do

• Manage business and distribution for REG business within Business Lending Group across complex geographical areas
• Drive portfolio and revenue targets for MSME clients with turnover up to INR 30 Cr
• Lead front‑line sales to generate business and build strategic channel relationships
• Build profitable franchise for SME and maintain portfolio quality
• Oversee non‑interest revenue streams including processing fee, trade and forex income
• Develop and execute channel sales and support functions
• Ensure compliance with covenant monitoring, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor portfolio health, control SMA and NPA, and engage cross‑functional teams

What you’ll bring

• Graduate or Post Graduate degree
• 12-15 years experience in business lending
