About the role

Springer Nature Technology and Publishing Solutions, the tech arm of Springer Nature, builds and optimizes Workday Core HCM to deliver accurate, auditable HR services. The Senior Workday Core HCM Specialist leads process design, data governance, and automated document generation across Pune, Berlin, London, and Warsaw, ensuring seamless integration with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors. The role requires deep Workday expertise, data quality frameworks, and stakeholder collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you’ll do

• Lead design, configuration and maintenance of Core HR processes
• Map and optimize current-state processes, implement automation
• Define and enforce data governance rules and validation checks
• Build and maintain automated document templates
• Create advanced reports and dashboards
• Lead end‑to‑end testing and release management
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, vendors and external partners
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and operational documentation
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new features

Education
