About the role
People Business Partner team at Skillz drives retention, performance, and people operations for fast‑scaling technical groups. The role partners with senior leaders to design data‑informed talent programs, coach managers, and manage onboarding, off‑boarding, and performance cycles. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Partner with department leaders to improve retention and reduce attrition
- Design and execute performance management lifecycle
- Coach managers on engagement and people decisions
- Lead onboarding, off‑boarding, and day‑to‑day people needs
- Improve People Operations processes and scale programs
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years in People/HR roles
- 6+ years as HR Business Partner
- Experience partnering with senior leaders (VP+)
- Hands‑on support for technical teams
- Experience with US teams preferred
