About the role
WNS, part of Capgemini, seeks a Sr. Group Manager to lead HRIS operations and team management in Mumbai. The role oversees Workday configuration, release management, and support for AI and people analytics initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in India.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage a small team of outsourced HRIS analysts to ensure SLA-driven service delivery
- Oversee intake, prioritization, and resolution of system issues and enhancements
- Partner with internal HRIS director on end-to-end release management lifecycle
- Provide hands-on Workday functional configuration support for Core HCM and security
- Oversee people analytics resources and manage data governance and reporting capabilities
- Enable AI-driven initiatives by ensuring data quality and system readiness
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of Workday HRIS experience with hands-on configuration
- Experience managing an HRIS support team
- Strong background in release management and UAT coordination
- Proven track record of delivering operational excellence in HR systems support
- Solid understanding of HR processes such as Core HCM or Recruiting
