Senior CMDB Engineer - ServiceNow

About the role

Senior CMDB Engineer on Genesys’ ServiceNow platform builds and maintains the CMDB, HAM, and SAM capabilities to ensure accurate, governance‑driven asset data across the enterprise. The role designs integrations, monitors data health, and collaborates with infrastructure, cloud, security, and procurement teams to align CMDB with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model. Remote‑India (Tamil Nadu) with full‑time work model.

What you’ll do

• Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB, HAM, and SAM
• Support Discovery, Service Mapping, and Asset Management processes
• Align CMDB with ServiceNow CSDM
• Develop integrations with external systems via REST, IntegrationHub, MID Servers
• Monitor CMDB health and governance metrics
• Implement reconciliation, normalization, and data certification
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, procurement, and operations teams
• Support software and hardware asset lifecycle activities
• Develop reports, dashboards, and insights
• Troubleshoot CMDB, Discovery, HAM, and SAM issues
• Contribute to automation initiatives using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
• Support testing, releases, upgrades, and platform maintenance

• 5+ years ServiceNow CMDB/HAM/SAM experience
• Strong CMDB architecture and CI relationship knowledge
• ServiceNow CSDM expertise
• HAM & SAM process implementation
• REST API & IntegrationHub integration design
• ITIL Configuration Management & Asset Management knowledge
• Agile & SDLC delivery experience
• ServiceNow CSA certification
