About the role

The Information Technology group at KLA seeks a Senior Lead, CMDB Engineer to enable business growth by connecting people, process, and technology. This role leads enterprise Linux/UNIX administration, ERP support, and infrastructure design for global production environments in Chennai, India. The position is full-time and on-site.

What you’ll do

Administer and maintain large-scale Linux/UNIX environments including RHEL, Oracle Linux, Solaris, and Ubuntu.
Provide infrastructure support for SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and Oracle ERP landscapes.
Design and manage high availability clustering solutions like Veritas Cluster Server and Linux HA.
Deploy and administer Kubernetes clusters and container platforms such as Docker and Podman.
Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
Administer enterprise storage environments (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
Design and maintain disaster recovery strategies ensuring RTO/RPO compliance.
Lead architecture initiatives and secure Linux/UNIX environments following industry best practices.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of Linux/UNIX Administration experience in large global enterprises.
5+ years supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle ERP, or similar platforms.
Proven experience supporting global 24x7 production environments.
