About the role

Construction Cost Management team at Hill International handles cost planning for building projects across residential, commercial, hotel, hospital and industrial sectors. The Senior Quantity Surveyor MEP leads quantity take‑offs for electrical, fire‑fighting, plumbing and HVAC works, prepares BOQs, supports cost estimation and manages change control and payment recommendations. Mumbai, India, on-site role.

What you’ll do

• Undertake quantity take‑offs for electrical, fire‑fighting, plumbing and HVAC works using applicable standards
• Use Cost X, AutoCAD and other tools to generate BOQs and cost plans
• Draft and validate Bills of Quantities and perform bulk checks
• Support cost estimation by identifying material and labour rates
• Prepare interim payment recommendations and manage change control processes
• Contribute to cost reporting, cash‑flow forecasting and variation valuation

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8-12 years experience with building projects
• Proficiency with Cost X and AutoCAD
• Strong CAD skills
• Advanced MS Excel and Word
