About the role
Technology as a Business team at Bajaj Finance drives AI-powered digital transformation. The Lead designs, builds, and scales Gen AI/ML solutions, including speech-to-speech, STT, TTS, and LLM pipelines, while guiding cross‑functional engineers and data scientists. Works onsite in Pune, overseeing end‑to‑end model development, MLOps, and responsible AI governance.
What you’ll do
- Lead end‑to‑end AI/ML model development
- Architect scalable AI platforms and pipelines
- Guide best practices in MLOps and model governance
- Define AI roadmap and strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Research emerging AI technologies for adoption
- Ensure responsible AI, fairness, explainability, and compliance
- Mentor engineers and data scientists to build technical capability
- Drive POCs, rapid prototyping, and production deployment
What you’ll bring
- 2-8 years AI/ML experience
- NLP and speech AI expertise (STT, TTS, S2S)
- Proficiency with LLMs, Hugging Face, LangChain or OpenAI stack
- Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow development
- Model optimization (quantization, distillation)
- Edge AI deployment and low‑latency serving
- Experience with emotion modeling and biometric systems
Education
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
