About the role
Senior Lead, Technology Risk and Control – Emerging Technology Risk at Northern Trust leads the identification, assessment, and oversight of AI, cloud, SaaS, and data‑driven platform risks. The role partners with Technology, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Compliance, and Audit to design controls, drive risk treatment, and support regulatory exams. Based in Pune, India, the position is full‑time on‑site with potential for relocation.
What you’ll do
- Lead emerging technology risk assessments
- Design and evaluate controls for AI, cloud, SaaS, and data platforms
- Partner with Technology, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Compliance, and Audit
- Support regulatory exams and internal audits
- Prepare risk materials for governance forums
Nice to have
- 10-12 years in Technology Risk or Cyber Risk
- Experience with AI, cloud, or complex digital architectures
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, or CRISC preferred
