About the role
Ameriprise Investment Research Group leads due diligence for alternative investments, evaluating hedge funds, private credit, private equity and real estate. The Group Lead drives sourcing, comprehensive analysis, and presents recommendations to investment committees while mentoring analysts. Based in Noida and Gurugram, India, hybrid work model with three days onsite per week.
What you’ll do
- Source and evaluate new alternative investment opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence including RFIs and manager meetings
- Prepare and deliver investment recommendations to committees
- Monitor existing investments and provide risk assessments
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for internal partners
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years investment research or due diligence experience
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Active FINRA Series 7 license or ability to obtain within 120 days
