Group Lead Research Analyst

About the role

Investment Performance team within Ameriprise's Advice & Wealth Management segment drives performance reporting across the firm. The Group Lead Research Analyst leads research, defines business requirements, and oversees data quality and compliance for investment performance tools. Based in Noida with hybrid work (3 days onsite) and collaboration with the Minneapolis headquarters, the role also guides cross‑functional projects and vendor relationships.

What you’ll do

• Conduct research and define business requirements for performance reporting
• Provide data quality oversight and escalation support
• Maintain control testing for performance tools and processes
• Participate in performance verification compliance for third‑party managers
• Supervise performance reporting tools for client and product reporting
• Collaborate with product, technology, legal, compliance, and vendors on projects
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve data quality and front‑end experience
• Guide junior colleagues through influence and subject‑matter expertise

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years financial services experience
• Master's Degree or equivalent
• Investment performance measurement and reporting experience
• Knowledge of investment concepts and practices
• Experience with performance measurement systems (e.g., Pershing X, Morningstar)
• CIPM and/or CFA designation or progress
• Understanding of GIPS standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills
