The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Buying translates monthly production plans into raw and packaging material requirements, manages order execution, and mitigates supply disruptions using SAP and KPI reporting. Based in Navi Mumbai, India, this role operates on-site with occasional cross‑functional collaboration with procurement, warehouse, and production teams.
What you’ll do
- Translate production plans into material quantities
- Manage daily order and delivery processes
- Analyze master schedules to set inventory levels
- Identify and mitigate supply shortages
- Perform rough cut capacity planning
- Resolve supply chain disruptions quickly
- Maintain ERP data accuracy and generate KPI reports
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams
What you’ll bring
- Graduate BE/B-Tech
- Master/MBA in supply chain or operations
- 4-5 years supply chain experience
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP S4 HANA)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
