Senior Tableau Developer

About the role

The Procurement/Manufacturing department seeks a Senior Tableau Developer to lead the design and optimization of advanced dashboards that drive strategic business decisions. This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders, architecting data models, and mentoring junior developers to ensure high-quality, scalable reporting solutions. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, on-site.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Tableau dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders to define analytics requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Drive data storytelling by delivering actionable insights that influence strategic decisions.
• Optimize and enhance dashboard performance, ensuring scalability, usability, and best practices.
• Architect and manage data models, data sources, and Tableau extracts.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across all reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and implement robust data pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in data visualization and analytics.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Tableau development with a strong portfolio of enterprise dashboards.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Server, and/or Cloud.
• Strong expertise in SQL and working with large-scale relational databases.

Nice to have

• Tableau Certification (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Desktop Specialist).
• Experience with Python, R, or other advanced analytics tools.
• Experience in Procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, or Industry 4.0 environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery.
