Senior Tableau Developer

About the role

Senior Tableau Developer on Citigroup’s Applications Development team, building enterprise BI dashboards across web and mobile using Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, and Big Data backends. The role designs, develops, and optimizes Tableau reports, collaborates with QA, UAT, and end‑users to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and ensures performance and semantic layer integrity. Pune, India, onsite with hybrid flexibility.

What you’ll do

• Design & develop Tableau dashboards
• Provide technical walk‑throughs to QA/UAT
• Translate business requirements into technical specs
• Develop report prototypes and fine‑tune deliverables
• Optimize dashboard performance
• Create complex reports with parameters and crosstabs
• Review and fine‑tune report deliverables
• Collaborate with end‑users and project teams

What you’ll bring

• 8-10+ years Tableau BI
• 8-10+ years SQL development
• 8-10+ years Tableau schema design
• Strong Tableau Desktop/Prep/Architecture
• SQL Server/Oracle/DB2/Sybase/MySQL
• DevOps experience
• Tableau REST API
• Mobile configuration
