Senior Engineer, PCB Designer

About the role

ZF India R&D team designs and develops printed circuit boards for automotive electronic products. The Senior Engineer creates and reviews PCB layouts, ensures signal integrity and EMC compliance, and collaborates with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to integrate designs. Hyderabad office, on-site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop PCB layouts and schematics from concept to production
• Ensure designs meet electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, signal integrity, EMC, safety and reliability requirements
• Support prototype builds, testing and issue resolution
• Coordinate with system, hardware and mechanical engineers for integration
• Liaise with manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure producibility and cost efficiency
• Maintain design documentation, standards and best practices

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering
• Minimum 3 years PCB design experience
• Proficiency with Siemens EDA Xpedition suite
• Knowledge of high‑speed, high‑current, analog and mixed‑signal PCB design
• Experience in design for testing, fabrication and assembly
• Familiarity with multi‑layer, sequential and HDI technologies
• Ability to work with global cross‑functional teams
