Senior Engineer PCB Layout Design

About the role

Carrier Global – the global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions – seeks a Senior Engineer for PCB Layout Design. The role designs high‑quality multi‑layer PCB layouts for analog, digital, RF and power electronics, collaborating with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams throughout product development. Hyderabad, India, onsite work at Raheja Mindspace campus.

What you’ll do

• Create complex analog/digital/RF PCB layouts
• Develop multilayer designs with high‑speed interfaces and controlled impedance
• Perform component placement, routing, stack‑up definition and optimization
• Maintain footprints, symbols and component libraries
• Conduct design, Gerber and DFM reviews and sign‑off
• Collaborate with hardware and mechanical teams to resolve constraints
• Support prototype builds, debugging and design improvements
• Interface with fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve manufacturing issues

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 5-8 years PCB design experience
• Proficiency with Altium Designer Pro and Cadence Allegro
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes
• Experience with PLM systems like Windchill
• Knowledge of UL, IEC, IPC standards
• Familiarity with SI/PI analysis tools
• Experience in library management and DFM/DFA/DFT
