About the role
Qualcomm Hardware Engineering team drives next‑generation silicon innovations for AI and processor solutions. The Senior Lead designs, verifies, and optimizes RTL architectures for NPU hardware, collaborates across design, verification, and system teams to meet performance, power, and area targets, and mentors junior engineers. Bangalore office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Plan, design, and verify RTL architectures for NPU processors
- Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize power, performance, and area
- Integrate hardware features per roadmap and product proposals
- Collaborate with cross‑functional design, verification, and system teams
- Develop manufacturing solutions and yield improvement strategies
- Document technical specifications and design decisions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team members
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- 3+ years hardware engineering experience (or Master's with 2+ years, PhD with 1+ year)
- 2+ years circuit design (digital, analog, RF)
- 2+ years schematic capture and simulation tools
- 2+ years hardware measurement instrumentation experience
- 1+ year technical leadership role
Nice to have
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years hardware engineering experience
