Quality Manager, Director

About the role

The Quality Manager, Director role leads quality strategy and compliance across the platform or domain in Gurugram. You will oversee testing execution, manage feature teams, and ensure seamless transitions from development to live environments using automation and Agile practices. This full-time position operates on a 45-hour schedule with an On-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Provide direction and leadership on all quality matters including adoption and compliance
• Lead and manage quality strategy, plan, and execution results of multiple feature teams
• Produce comprehensive quality strategies and detailed test plans for continuous flow
• Oversee output quality from all testing phases to meet strategy requirements
• Manage end-to-end test planning, risk, issue, dependency management, and governance
• Ensure defects are detected, prioritized, and resolved before the last responsible moment
• Drive quality of team work to improve solutions and enhance customer experiences
• Take accountability for quality across run, change, and business-as-usual activities

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years experience in quality strategy, planning, and testing design/execution
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, best practices, and risk/control frameworks
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing (system, integration, security, etc.)
• Ability to create and execute Test Strategy for large programmes
• Evidence of driving automation testing within a department

Nice to have

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced Markets environment
• High-level knowledge of modern testing practices and Agile methodologies
