Director, Quality Management Systems

About the role

Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs team seeks a Director to lead the development and maintenance of global Quality Management Systems. The role drives regulatory compliance, harmonizes QMS procedures, and fosters continuous improvement across sites. This position is based in Bangalore, India, on an On-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead harmonization and standardization of Alcon's QMS to ensure compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to align QMS initiatives with company objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and translate them into quality strategies.
• Activate Quality Information Systems and training programs for scalability.
• Operationalize departmental priorities and allocate resources effectively.
• Build organizational capability through leadership and strategic planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality processes.
• Ensure adherence to GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.

What you’ll bring

• Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) development and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and Health Authority expectations.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience in strategic planning and resource allocation for quality initiatives.
