Director, Quality Assurance, Third Party Risk Management

About the role

Morgan Stanley's Third Party Risk Management team seeks a Director to strengthen processes and drive transformation within the Third Party Program Management function. The role focuses on ensuring quality service, maintaining regulatory-aligned policies, and improving operational throughput through rigorous quality assurance. This position is based in Mumbai, India, and operates as an on-site full-time role.

What you’ll do

• Ensures quality service within SLAs to internal clients such as Onshore senior leadership and SMEs
• Maintains policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the function in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Improves throughput, work quality, and supervisory reviews through process and controls quality assurance
• Builds training programs and fosters a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
• Supports the Site lead of India by promoting a strong culture, training, and inclusivity within the team

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or equivalent required
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in risk and control assessments in financial services
• Sound knowledge of internal control and risk management with strong understanding of business operations

Nice to have

Chartered accountant, CPA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or MBA preferred
