Director, Quality Assurance

The Director of Quality Assurance leads a worldwide QA organization, defining strategy, scaling automation, and driving AI‑enabled testing to ensure reliable, high‑performance products. Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, this role operates on‑site and partners with engineering, product, and DevOps leaders to embed quality across the development lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute organization‑wide QA strategy aligned with product roadmaps
• Lead and mentor a global QA team across multiple programs
• Establish KPIs, quality metrics, and governance processes
• Drive test automation modernization and AI‑enabled testing initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership to prioritize quality investments
• Oversee QA planning, execution, and release readiness across products
• Implement AI/ML‑driven quality engineering tools and predictive defect analysis
• Represent QA in executive meetings and drive cross‑functional alignment

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years QA/Quality Engineering experience
• 7+ years senior leadership in enterprise QA
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering or equivalent
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar
• API, performance and security testing expertise
• CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Proficiency with JIRA, Practitest, Postman
• Strong communication and executive influence skills
