About the role
Supply Chain and Operational team at Twinings Ovaltine, responsible for end‑to‑end logistics and import‑export operations. The role ensures compliance with Indian customs and food safety regulations, manages documentation, negotiates shipping terms, and coordinates with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders. Based in India, onsite work model.
What you’ll do
- Ensure compliance with Indian logistics, FSSAI, and customs regulations
- Prepare and maintain cargo documentation and licences
- Negotiate shipping methods and routes to minimize costs
- Liaise with statutory bodies and respond to regulatory queries
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and warehouse teams
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in ERP system
- Conduct product label approvals and ensure legal compliance
- Train Indian supply chain team on customs laws and procedures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce & science or equivalent in Logistics or Supply Chain
- 10‑12 years experience handling customs and clearing agents
- 10 years experience in tea, herbs & food additives logistics
- 5‑7 years experience managing export of finished goods
- Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
- Ability to translate complex technical and customs issues
